The Learning Resource Centre
The Learning Resource Centre has rightly been described as a school library for the 21st Century. The Centre has everything to be expected in a traditional school library buy also has the best that modern technology has to offer. It is also air conditioned. The Centre is used by pupils during lessons - they are released to work individually or in small groups under the guidance of Mrs Holding, the LRC Manager and her assistant. The LRC is also available to pupils at other times of the school day - before school, at lunchtime and at the end of the school day. The LRC is central to the school's plans to equip all our pupils with the skills needed to be independent and resourceful learners. This is a library for the twenty first century with resources ranging from network computers, interactive whiteboard and projector, video conferencing, print, tape, satellite and video to intranet and internet access.
